The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts. (Haggai 2:9 KJV)

This is a word in season. It is a word that I believe comes from God’s heart and congratulate the THE GLORY OF THE LATTER HOUSE SHALL BE GREATER

The glory of this latter house shall be greater than of the former, saith the Lord of hosts: and in this place will I give peace, saith the Lord of hosts. (Haggai 2:9 KJV)

When we look around the world today, we do not need a prophet to tell us that the world is looking for answers. Our world is groaning in pain for answers. People are asking questions and they need answers.

Ebola all over Africa and the quest and pursuit for it’s cure, with over two thousand people dead already and their families mourning their dead.

ISIS planning and threatening to take over almost all the world. Islamic militancy gradually devouring the youth of the western countries, and painfully even youth who carry strong Christian names.

Missing Malaysian airline with over 270 people gone ‘with the wind’ without no clue as to where the missing aircraft has gone.

School Children in Chibok whisked off by Boko Haram for over two hundred days and leaving everyone almost numb as to what to do.

The list is endless

The Church ( the body of Christ) looks on almost powerlessly as if there is no solution to all these issues. We look at the Church and the way it was born over 2000 years in power and glory and wonder why? Why have we become so powerless? What of the testimonies of old? The tangible show of GOD’S power as recorded in the scriptures.

It must have felt that way in the days of Hagai. They looked at the splendour of the new temple in comparison to the Old. The new was supposed to be an improvement to the old? They wondered about the past glory and wondered if the power and the glory would return again. Would they ever see the turnaround of the glory of the Church?

It was at that point that Gods voice speaks through Prophet Hagai. It will happen again. We will see the Church come back to it’s lost glory and power. We will again see the fame of The Lord renewed in our days.

We will again see the Miracles again and the demonstration of Gods power manifest through the body of Christ. There is hope for our world.
